New year reflections

Last year completely changed everything for me. For us, really. It was the most incredible journey I've ever experienced.

I discovered that love can grow even deeper than you thought possible—when a tiny little soul no bigger than a bean takes up residence inside you and completely captures your heart. That kind of love transforms you.

These final days of that beautiful year found us all battling illness here at home. We're limping into this fresh year still recovering, still finding our strength again.

So my biggest wish for these next twelve months? Health. Pure and simple. Good health for everyone I love.

I'm not asking for anything for myself anymore. Everything I want now, I want for my daughter. Becoming a mother brings out this selflessness I never knew I had—suddenly your own needs fade into the background, and theirs become everything.

The past year brought me more joy than I can properly express. I'm just hoping that this new one surprises me with moments just as wonderful and beautiful.

There's so much I need to catch up on—in my everyday life and here in this space too. But my little girl comes first. Always Ema. She'll always be my priority.

To everyone reading this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm wishing you abundant health, genuine love, and true peace. May you chase down everything else you need with that as your foundation.

I hope this year brings you exactly what I'm hoping for myself—happiness that overflows. Here's to a beautiful new chapter!

From one year to the next, we carry forward the lessons and love that shaped us.

Here at the threshold between what was and what will be, I find myself grateful beyond measure.

Whatever this year has in store, I'm ready to embrace it with open arms.

Wishing you a year filled with meaning, connection, and countless small joys.

With warmth,
A.
